Features:
- It deposits a weld metal with approximately 25% Chromium (Cr), 12% Nickel (Ni), and 2.5% Molybdenum (Mo).
- Excellent resistance to corrosion, especially in oxidizing environments.
- Good to excellent resistance to oxidation and scaling at high temperatures.
- Mechanical properties: Produces high-strength weld metal.
- Characterized by low spatter, a smooth bead, a stable arc, and easily controlled slag.
- Welding different types of metals, especially stainless steels (like 309Mo and 316 types) to carbon or low-alloy steels.
- Applying a buffer layer on carbon steel or low-alloy steels to improve resistance before depositing a more noble weld metal.
